July and the news is full of November. Bush and war, Kerry and the other ruling party, Nader the spoiler(?)and, according to many, merely an ego running to ruin. Where does a pacifist mark her ballot? Is voting no longer a democratic act? Do the workers (both employed and unemployed) of the world have a voice? What is behind the chatter? Does it matter? Is it best to grab a sack and a book hit the road, find a tree, and lie this one out?
Vote with your life, simplify and deny the material crassness of this nation. How does one breathe spirit into the politics of this life? Well Gertrude those are some of the question; have any answers for Alice?

Mike's Street Legal is established with poliics in mind.
Politics in the largest sense: never removing itself from the day to day struggle of the streets and those who travel them. And polics is by nature a spiritual endeavour; spiritually based and tried and errored. Music, words, trees, birds, food, work, and the lives of billions. It is a quest to share in a positve way ideas, actions, observations, experiences, and those things which give purpose to the journey we each travel. So hit the street and live; and take a moment to share some of the joy and hope, tears and sweat, frustration and kicks with me. Crack a book not heads.
